Firsthand Knowledge
We believe the best travel advice comes from experience. Michele has traveled to nearly 100 countries, many repeatedly, and spends almost half the year traveling to stay current on the hotels, destinations and experiences we recommend. She often spends a month or more in a single country, developing the depth of knowledge to understand not just what’s “best,” but which places, hotels and experiences are right for each client.

Meet Michele
I have always been endlessly curious about the world. I love immersing myself in a destination—learning its history and culture, trying the food and wine, meeting the people and understanding what makes each place special. Italy, France and Africa are particular passions, and I return to each year after year, continually deepening my knowledge and discovering new places and experiences.
Before becoming a travel advisor, I spent 15 years in management consulting and project management. That experience shaped the way I approach travel planning today: strategically, creatively and with an almost obsessive attention to detail.
Most of all, I genuinely love planning travel. I love the challenge of figuring out how to make an itinerary work beautifully—what to combine, how long to spend in each place, which hotel is right for a particular client and which experiences will make the trip truly memorable.

I love gorgeous luxury hotels but I also like to get off the beaten path, and find unique gems in interesting neighborhoods. There are always the “can’t miss” tourist attractions, but getting a local guide who is knowledgeable and fun can make a place really come alive. And, I never miss an opportunity to cook and enjoy food. Being in the kitchen with a local chef, especially with friends or family, is often the highlight of a trip.
I worked in Mexico City as an attorney, studied in Germany, and have traveled throughout Europe and North and South America. I would love to make your travel dreams a reality.
